I am German by birth BUT grew up in the USA . Education (short summary): Northern Illinois University, USA B.S.  Major: Biology Minor: Chemistry Augustana College (Private Univ.), USA   B.A. Major: Business Administration Concentration in Management and Finance Journalism Internship Womans World Magazine     London, England (1985) I worked in the art, editing, fashion, feature and production department. My work experience: • I have worked in the USA in all aspects of sales and to a lesser degree marketing in the field of genetic engineering.    • Currently, I am a technical writer for a major software company. Additional experience: • Translating (German to English) Highlight:  Co-translator for the pocket guide: 1848 Kindling the Fires of Freedom  Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt (1998) • Copy-editing (medical textbooks) • Creative Writing Artistic background: I have many of my art ideas from traveling. I am fascinated by exotic animals and plants, geography and different cultures. During my university studies and work, I have taken classes with various artists in the USA and Europe. However, most of my skills I have self-trained. I just try it!
